WHAT IS IT?

Spinal manipulation (also known as an “adjustment”) is a treatment method used by manual therapists at Belmont Medical Pharmacy and Physiotherapy to treat joint pain, stiffness, and headaches. It involves applying a quick, but gentle, force through a joint within its normal range of motion.

What does it do?

It helps increase the range of motion of stiff joints and provides temporary pain relief. You may hear a “popping” sound during treatment at Belmont's Clinic, which is simply the release of gas bubbles within the joint. It is a highly effective way to manage muscle spasms and tightness.
